You have always had your mother's eyes and smile. I don't see either of your Grandmothers in you except Grandmother Evelyn Shutz Huntzinger's quirk; you uncannily reflect pictures of Great Grandmother Martha Louise (Luiz) Sessions Huntzinger.

My family loves shepherd's pie, but I make a cheap and easy version that they love. I wish I had time to make chef Ramsey's recipe, but with three boys pulling on me...this version is much easier! Anyway, here's an easy quick version:

1 lb lean hamburger, browned & drained
1 can tomato soup
1 can green beans
1 can corn
1 can diced tomatoes (I like these but most people leave them out)
1/2 - 1 c. shredded cheese
2 - 3 c. mashed potatoes (we love potato pearls, but they can be whatever instant potatoes you have or leftover real potatoes)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Take all ingredients except for potatoes and cheese and mix together in a 2 qt casserole dish. Spread potatoes over the top so it covers the goulash beneath. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover. Bake until "pie" is bubbling and cheese is melted.

If you want to add some more flavor, add some worchestire sauce.

The other night I experimented with Honey-mustard Chicken breast and Holy Cow!! It was deelish!! I am always looking for really easy boneless chicken breast recipes because I prefer chicken and... well the easier the better when it comes to cooking! I used 1/4 c honey and melted 1T butter than added 2T dijon Mustard and mixed. Put the 2 chicken breasts in a baking dish and spread over the chicken baked at 375 for 45 min and basted randomly through out. It was the best chicken I've had in a long time!

Ooh, those both look fantastic! I haven't made anything terribly yummy lately, but now that I'm armed with The Art of Simple Food, maybe I'll come up with something soon. :)

Personally, it's cute underpants :) In my home, the day is better with a made bed...I know, not very "spicy"...

I love the rain. I grew up in Washington and so rainy days bring me home. One of my favorite things to do on rainy days is to go thrift shopping. I'm not really sure why. I just always really enjoyed it on those days the most.
I have a memory of being a child and visiting my cousins in Utah when a summer storm hit. We would play a game where we'd try to run from the top of her driveway and back dodging all the raindrops. I'm pretty sure it was futile but I remember thinking I was so good at it.
