		<description>Writing about things you&#039;re grateful for is one good way.  But you know that.  Another idea is to emphasize non-nihilistic music.  And to avoid angry or whiny music.  One Dad in our neighborhood said his teenage daughter&#039;s chronic depression was lifted by changing radio stations.  

But if you&#039;re really down in the dumps, you can listen to something sad, like The Blues, then gradually lift the mood of the music to something really happy, like maybe Dixieland with tubas and banjos.  Happier people find gratitude to be easier.</description>
