  • Psalm 25:1

To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul; my God, I put my trust in you…

I lift up my soul to my God by praying the offices.  Four times a day I pause and praise and petition.  How do you lift up your soul?

I must say that I feel the most like this when I’m at the temple. Nothing else ever makes me feel cleansed, refreshed and uplifted like the temple. It reminds me of how I felt right after I was baptized.
      Love you!

    2. Maryanne says:

Singing. When I sing and really mean it – especially hymns – I truly feel like I’m lifting up my soul and showing it, open and bare, to God.

I hadn’t thought about that before. I think I need to sing more.

Thanks Brandy! I’m kind of having a major aha moment right now.

    3. Julie says:

Singing for me too. And listening to upbeat music and dancing.
